Chilagoe
Chillagoe is located in northern Queensland was once a thriving mining town for a range of minerals. It is within the local government area of Shire of Mareeba and has a tiny population of under 500 people. Known for its caves, the Chillagoe-Mungana Caves National Park contains limestone caves that attract many tourists. There are between 600 and 1,000 caves that have spectacular views and are rich with history. Chillagoe has been stated that it has the most diverse geology in the world.
